In the 15th minute Florian Loncki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Florian Loncki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Geovânio de Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Srebrny Grom DK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Diniz came free, but Miroslaw Setara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC were furious when Nilson da Rocha was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barcellos Mineiro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Loncki in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Vianna. Florian Loncki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Geovânio de Medeiros made a huge save. Pedro Luiz Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Setara having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Marian Sowa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Diniz was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Luiz Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Setara having to interfere. Miroslaw Setara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Luiz Teles in the 57th minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Srebrny Grom DK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eriberto de Queiroz took the corner. Emanuel Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luiz Guilherme Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Diniz got free with Miroslaw Setara in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Andrézinho Messias got a free kick in the 68th minute. Srebrny Grom DK's Miroslaw Setara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto de Queiroz in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Tony Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Setara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, Srebrny Grom DK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Zerde to maneuver through the defense. Barcellos Mineiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
