Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Hyuga kicked off to start the match. When Ricardo Munio came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the chacarita juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Munio couldn't finish the play. 1-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Ricardo Munio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita juniors's zone, Thiago Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Benet came out of the goal and Thiago Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the chacarita juniors defense, Thiago Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Benet. The chacarita juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Benet should have stopped the shot. Thiago Machado struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Epifanio Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coritiba Foot Ball Club. Epifanio Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Hyuga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Epifanio Benet came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado. But to his dismay, Thiago Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 32 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Machado came free, but Epifanio Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Benet having to make a save. Epifanio Benet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Machado went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Steve Hyuga notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of chacarita juniors's Epifanio Benet. Epifanio Benet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Coritiba Foot Ball Club were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Epifanio Benet was a little too slow when Steve Hyuga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-7. If Steve Hyuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Machado in the 61st minute. Fernan Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Epifanio Benet made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Thiago Machado sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Steve Hyuga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Thiago Machado put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Epifanio Benet. Thiago Machado didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-9 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 76 played minutes chacarita juniors got a freekick which was hit by Omar Corderun. Thiago Machado came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Epifanio Benet could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Hyuga in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Benet saved chacarita juniors from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Hyuga in the 83rd minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Epifanio Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Caetano Ponta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Steve Hyuga had several of the chacarita juniors's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-10 score and a disappointed Epifanio Benet as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thiago Machado let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 90th minute shot 1-11 at rihgt post. After 96 played minutes Coritiba Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Benedito de Azevedo. Delfim Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
