Wellington Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Santos in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Antônio Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wellington Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Gaspar in the 22nd minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Moura hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Gaspar during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Gaspar. When Antônio Santos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Martins in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Matos saved OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Dário Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Matos was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Santos in the 91st minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Wellington Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Wellington Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 97th minute of play. When Daniel Arce fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OTTO FC - FSCMZ's protests and gave Daniel Arce a yellow card for diving instead. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
