João Carlos Paraíba came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by 27 de Mayo's Hélder Severo. But to his dismay, Hélder Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Hélder Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 27 de Mayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Percival Galvão got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Vianna in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Severo in the 23rd minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Carlos Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Pedro Luís Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 27 de Mayo and the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Luís Alcântara hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Edson Urbanos short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Rogério Soberano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Percival Galvão got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 33rd match minute, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Galvão to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match 27 de Mayo got a corner. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ponce Cruzado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ponce Cruzado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Carlos Paraíba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Heidemann FC - FSCMZ booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. 吴常响 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes, Edgard Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ and the 27 de Mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgard Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. João Carlos Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Hélder Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 de Mayo's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Trigo in the 47th minute of play.
In the 52nd minute Edgard Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson Urbano made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anderson Domingues immediately put the ball in play. João Carlos Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Hélder Severo scored 0-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Carlos Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Carlos Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match, Ernani Vargas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Carlos Paraíba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute, Hélder Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 27 de Mayo's Erramu Chute was substituted for Claudinei Tasso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Trigo in the 78th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Hélder Severo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Carlos Paraíba. Hélder Severo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. João Carlos Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Severo got free with João Carlos Paraíba in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's João Carlos Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Heidemann FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. João Carlos Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Vargas in the 88th minute of the match. João Carlos Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ernani Vargas sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the game, Wanderson Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 27 de Mayo the free kick. In the 90th minute, Wanderson Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Branco came free, but João Carlos Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Severo in the 96th minute.
