Ezequiel Centurión took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Florin in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's Sydney Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Centurión narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Beat Kellenberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Divorciados FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
