After 10 minutes Golden Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Fantini who took care of the corner kick. Golden Lions FC's Jens-Ola Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Miranda in the 12th minute of play. Wiliam Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Ånger to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Jens-Ola Strömbom got control of the ball when Diguinho Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Strömbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diguinho Souza. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Diguinho Souza took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jens-Ola Strömbom to make any attempt to save it. Atlético da Colina's Mateus Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Kvarnström in the 38th minute of play. Ronaldão Trevisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jens-Ola Strömbom made a huge save. Jens-Ola Strömbom was a little too slow when Diguinho Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Conny Ånger got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Diguinho Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jens-Ola Strömbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Souza in the 59th minute of the match. Conny Ånger got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 62nd match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Ånger to maneuver through the defense. Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza pulled a muscle in his back after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Atlético da Colina made a substitution. Jonas da Rocha replaced Diguinho Souza. In the 64th minute, one of Golden Lions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Lions FC. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Atlético da Colina. João Fantini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jens-Ola Strömbom. 4-0. If Rodrigo Gama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Nordström hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Jonas da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jens-Ola Strömbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Jonas da Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Strömbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. João Miranda hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Jonas da Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ola Strömbom. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ola Strömbom should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Thorsberg got free with Mateus Linhares in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Michael Ekegren in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético da Colina's João Fantini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas da Rocha in the 93rd minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Strömbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ola Strömbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas da Rocha went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Atlético da Colina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
