The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when INTOCABLES 2oo4 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inguma Solana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lancelot Huguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Viejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Västlund in the 15th minute of the match. When Golden Lions FC's Michael Ekegren in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 30th minute, Michael Ekegren made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Viejo. INTOCABLES 2oo4's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Leif Västlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Galego in the 36th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Strömbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Rencio Carreira in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golden Lions FC's Thomas Pilberg. In the 73rd match minute, INTOCABLES 2oo4 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dantel Vadillos to maneuver through the defense. If Michael Ekegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, INTOCABLES 2oo4's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Ekegren came free, but Paulino Viejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inge Galego during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Bengt Lindman fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Lions FC's protests and gave Bengt Lindman a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Lindman. In the 85th minute, Michael Ekegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Inge Galego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ola Strömbom. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ola Strömbom should have stopped the shot.
