The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Geofredo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Emiliano Geofredo got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Hayati Erginsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Kahraman Nevruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Aires in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Alemdar Usare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mapovihesa FC the free kick. When Hernan Scalarandi fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mapovihesa FC's protests and gave Hernan Scalarandi a yellow card for diving instead. Kahraman Nevruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Ismael Pancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mapovihesa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seferihisar İdman Gücü the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Aires to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Aires in the 53rd minute of play forced Seferihisar İdman Gücü's goalkeeper Kahraman Nevruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Seferihisar İdman Gücü getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Taci Suavi hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Osman Onal came free, but Silverio Modestio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Modestio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Osman Onal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. Hernan Scalarandi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mehmet Osman Onal fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seferihisar İdman Gücü's protests and gave Mehmet Osman Onal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mapovihesa FC booed when Seferihisar İdman Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Osman Onal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Marcelino Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapovihesa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Nevruz having to interfere. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
