Rogerio Marquina came out of the goal and Eliézer Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Marques Toraño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Jaime Montesinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marques Toraño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ian Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marques Toraño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Montesinos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Rocha. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Tarcisio Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ian Rocha was a little too slow when Henric Mensa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Faron Sancha hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ian Rocha got control of the ball when Marques Toraño tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Zeca Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marques Toraño scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Jaime Montesinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ferreira Lopes MZC defense, Cibran Aladro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Rocha. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Rocha should have stopped the shot. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ian Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliézer Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Zebolla FC's Rogerio Marquina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zebolla FC from getting a goal against them. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ian Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Mensa in the 55th minute of play. If Xan Mediavilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Cibran Aladro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marques Toraño in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Zebolla FC's goalkeeper Rogerio Marquina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo Munhoz. Duda Félix hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ian Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Montesinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Zebolla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferreira Lopes MZC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernado Folgueral in the 89th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Ian Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Musko Novajas's late challenge caught a Ferreira Lopes MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Musko Novajas helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Zebolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Musko Novajas. Ian Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernado Folgueral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferreira Lopes MZC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
