AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Tonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 minutes, Everardo Tavio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC LeX Luthor and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, AC LeX Luthor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Tavio to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, Roceira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Donato to maneuver through the defense. AC LeX Luthor's Everardo Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Tavio came free, but Sérgio Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Roceira SC's Miguel da Fonseca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibaut Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Anselmo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roceira SC's Sérgio Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Tavio in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Oscar Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Lima. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Tasso was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute Everardo Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Tasso came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Roceira SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
