A collision led to Mazaredo AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Americo Macario hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Mazaredo AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Kelemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Higuaín. Mazaredo AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Americo Macario in the 18th minute. Mladen Mangúrov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Benítez's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Patricio Vimaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mladen Mangúrov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Patricio Vimaro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Manchester United F.C.'s Mladen Mangúrov. Mladen Mangúrov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Deshov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Arsenio Benítez sped through Manchester United F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mladen Mangúrov. The Manchester United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mladen Mangúrov should have stopped the shot. Mladen Mangúrov came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Mazaredo AFC's Patricio Vimaro. But to his dismay, Patricio Vimaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Mladen Mangúrov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Benítez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Patricio Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazaredo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Arsenio Benítez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mladen Mangúrov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mladen Mangúrov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Benítez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arsenio Benítez made the kick off in the second half. Mladen Mangúrov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arsenio Benítez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 51 minute of play. The referee ignored Manchester United F.C.'s protests and gave Nenko Abazov a yellow card for diving instead. 66 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Vimaro came free, but Mladen Mangúrov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mazaredo AFC's Mladen Mangúrov threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Vimaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manchester United F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Americo Macario was slow to take the kick. During this time Mazaredo AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lucas Gaur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manchester United F.C.'s Mladen Mangúrov did a great save. After some careless play in the Manchester United F.C. defense, Arsenio Benítez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mladen Mangúrov. The Manchester United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mladen Mangúrov should have stopped the shot. Arsenio Benítez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Mazaredo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
