The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anier Villegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tebaldo Mondejar's late challenge caught a Cavaliers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tebaldo Mondejar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when La Mora CAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tebaldo Mondejar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cavaliers FC's Tadeo Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jani Petters came free, but Reynaldo Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbasa Alabern in the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Cesario got free with Rambo Jon in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Tadeo Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rambo Jon was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toros No in the 23rd minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Mora CAT's Rambo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Cesario in the 26th minute of play. Rambo Jon was a little too slow when Tadeo Cesario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 33 minutes of play, La Mora CAT's Jani Petters made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Bertin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Cesario in the 36th minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Rambo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Tadeo Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rambo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jani Petters in the 43rd minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tebaldo Mondejar made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Toros No. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Cesario was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of La Mora CAT booed when Cavaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Cuenca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Jani Petters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Bertin skillfully saved the ball. Reynaldo Bertin made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Toros No sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Bertin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbasa Alabern in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Jani Petters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reynaldo Bertin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in La Mora CAT's zone, Tadeo Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rambo Jon came out of the goal and Tadeo Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Jani Petters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mora CAT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Reynaldo Bertin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toros No in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Charro came free, but Rambo Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Villegas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cavaliers FC's Reynaldo Bertin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cavaliers FC from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Bertin made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jose Policarpio sent off a good shot on target. After 94 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Villegas. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
