Delta FS's Tarcísio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donat Collier in the 4th minute of play. It was Donat Collier who took care of the corner kick. 9 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Adan came free, but Tarcísio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, José Luis Carranza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta FS the free kick. In the 15th minute, José Luis Carranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nova Soccer's Estefan Vizcarreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Leitão got free with Estefan Vizcarreto in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donat Collier in the 21st minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Tarcísio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Donat Collier came free, but Tarcísio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcísio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florian Adan went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Sayveon Panero got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tarcísio Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Adan's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Estefan Vizcarreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andaka Cabrales. Tarcísio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Favila Villaren in the 41st minute of play. Florian Adan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcísio Leite having to interfere. Estefan Vizcarreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Ribas in the 46th minute of the match. The Delta FS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nova Soccer were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Adan made a kick off. Vasco Ribas scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Estefan Vizcarreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Delta FS defense, Florian Adan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcísio Leite. The Delta FS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcísio Leite should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Kismi Abar. When Vasco Ribas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Delta FS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Ribas couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donat Collier got free with Tarcísio Leite in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute Ivan Leitão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estefan Vizcarreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Olea to maneuver through the defense. Nova Soccer's Estefan Vizcarreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Baptista in the 74th minute of play. Although Delta FS had been in control for most of the match, Nova Soccer still came away with the win.
