Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arin Mndoyants in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Rhoades prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Levon Sarkisyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arden Poulin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Avetisyan in the 17th minute of play forced Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Dennis Rhoades to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Persepolis F.C. were awarded a corner. Geraldo Wall went to the cornerflag to take it. Persepolis F.C.'s Geraldo Wall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Levon Sarkisyan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 27 minutes into the game, Khachatryan's Abel Avetisyan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Rhoades made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arin Mndoyants came free, but Dennis Rhoades reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Rhoades came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Khachatryan's Arin Mndoyants. But to his dismay, Arin Mndoyants quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arin Mndoyants made a kick off. Bernardo Caballero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Dennis Rhoades skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigor Grigoryan got free with Dennis Rhoades in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 69 in the game by Grigor Grigoryan from a close distance when the talented Dennis Rhoades managed to make a qualified save. Persepolis F.C.'s players were relieved. Dennis Rhoades didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Khachatryan's Grigor Grigoryan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Grigor Grigoryan put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Dennis Rhoades. Grigor Grigoryans short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Dennis Rhoades to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 91 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Caballero. Levon Sarkisyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arden Poulin in the 94th minute of play. Dennis Rhoades showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigor Grigoryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Persepolis F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Khachatryan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
