But to his dismay, Honorio Telesforo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Placido Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Marcelo Maige in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, one of U. de Tarapacá:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Cachiyuyo EAS. Niceto Oriche stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uriel Diaz Montero. 0-2. When Val Quera fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U. de Tarapacá's protests and gave Val Quera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Val Quera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Maciej Gizynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Diaz Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Diaz Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Telesforo in the 22nd minute of play. Sezen Taşkın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Placido Haimar made a huge save. Placido Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan José J.J., even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mauro Llanos hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Honorio Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in U. de Tarapacá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Niceto Oriche shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Uriel Diaz Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Telesforo in the 45th minute of play. The U. de Tarapacá players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cachiyuyo EAS were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Telesforo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Telesforo came free, but Uriel Diaz Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Diaz Montero came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Cachiyuyo EAS's Honorio Telesforo. But to his dismay, Honorio Telesforo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. got a free kick in the 54th minute. When U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachiyuyo EAS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute, Paco Raab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Uriel Diaz Montero throw himself and got hold of the ball when Honorio Telesforo in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Val Quera hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Julio Almi in the 64th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Placido Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Llanos hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes, Cachiyuyo EAS's Ermegildo Hernando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachiyuyo EAS reached it. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Val Quera got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eustacio Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Uriel Diaz Montero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Marcelo Maige scored 2-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Placido Haimar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Placido Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Julio Almi in the 84th minute of play. The Cachiyuyo EAS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cachiyuyo EAS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
