Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dario Gambini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Brodin's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes, Leonard Christoffersson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sao Brasola's Dario Gambini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Kristian Brodin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristian Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gambini having to interfere. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Wilfredo Laffitte hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Brodin in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Gambini saved Sao Brasola from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Kristian Brodin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gambini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kristian Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biagio Rucci made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Degerfors IF's Mats Ingemarsson. Kristian Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gambini having to interfere. Kristian Brodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dario Gambini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Anthony Falcioni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sao Brasola and the Degerfors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Falcioni. In the 42nd minute, Henrik Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Gambini was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Degerfors IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adriano Gagliano made the kick off in the second half. Kristian Brodin scored 0-4 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Gambini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristian Brodin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dario Gambini. That made the score 0-5 in the 60 minute of play. Dario Gambini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 63rd minute of the match. If Kristian Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Gambini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Åberg went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Per Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Gambini. Sao Brasola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With his leg Dario Gambini managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristian Brodin in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Gambini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristian Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristian Brodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Gambini having to make a save. Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Christoffersson to maneuver through the defense. Dario Gambini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 95th minute of the match. Kristian Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Degerfors IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
