After having played for 16 minutes, Jorge-Luis Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aioros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge-Luis Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Aioros FC's Jorge-Luis Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmar Semeno. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aioros FC's goalkeeper Yoel Yzarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Godofredo Vistruario sped through Aioros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yoel Yzarra. Delmar Semeno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose Miguel Núñez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 26 minute of play. Jose Miguel Núñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Semeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Miguel Núñez ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Aioros FC's zone, Godofredo Vistruario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yoel Yzarra came out of the goal and Godofredo Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Aioros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge-Luis Borges to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The wind increased when Godofredo Vistruario made the kick off in the second half. Jose Miguel Núñez took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Semeno. Delmar Semeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Delmar Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Miguel Núñez's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Aioros FC's Jose Miguel Núñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Semeno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Aioros FC's Xencio Sierro was substituted for Noel Sanvicente. Delmar Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Miguel Núñez in the 74th minute of the match. Yoel Yzarra came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Marcelino Bartolome. But to his dismay, Marcelino Bartolome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Vistruario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoel Yzarra was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Genaro Palben's late challenge caught a Aioros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Palben helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Naboonga Wild Katt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Palben to maneuver through the defense. After 85th play minutes Jose Miguel Núñez shot 6-2, a short shot which went by Delmar Semeno and just under the crossbar into goal. Delmar Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Miguel Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Naboonga Wild Katt FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Semeno should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Jose Miguel Núñez made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Semeno. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Aioros FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Naboonga Wild Katt FC for a fine match.
