In the 3rd minute, Caetano Simões made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Joachim. AFC CERBEROS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Betinho Leite hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Abadia during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Alberto Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Inocente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Caetano Simões notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim. Mauro Joachim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauro Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Simões in the 14th minute of play. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Simões in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Xiboquinha FC's Caetano Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Joachim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Simões in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Abadia in the 28th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Inocente kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, Xiboquinha FC's Olavo Moreno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Joachim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xiboquinha FC reached it. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Betinho Leite hit a great ball. Damian Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dibag Martinez made a huge save. When Caetano Simões came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Xiboquinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Simões couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Abadia in the 38th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dibag Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Azibar in the 39th minute. Mauro Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiquinho Soares to make the kick off. Mauro Joachim made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Caetano Simões sent off a good shot on target. Caetano Simões scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Joachim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Simões in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Caetano Simões got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Joachim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Caetano Simões's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mauro Joachim firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eliézer Alvarenga hit a great ball. Mauro Joachim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Simões's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 67 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Leite. The supporters of AFC CERBEROS booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes AFC CERBEROS got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Teodor. 71 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Mauro Joachim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Simões. The crowd rose to their feet as Caetano Simões kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Joachim. That made the score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Safadão in the 79th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Mauro Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Joachim came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Xiboquinha FC's Caetano Simões. But to his dismay, Caetano Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Caetano Simões struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mauro Joachim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xiboquinha FC. When the match was over Xiboquinha FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC CERBEROS throughout the match.
