Vikingos FC's Oscar Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes Vikingos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrinho de Senna who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pereiras FC's Jardel Nóbrega to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar Gines despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Simon Liher hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho de Senna in the 13th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Oscar Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Segundo Balendin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikingos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Balendin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Pedro Jakes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Oscar Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Nóbrega in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes Vikingos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrinho de Senna who took care of the corner kick. Pereiras FC's Pedrinho de Senna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar Gines in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Pereiras FC's Jardel Nóbrega in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vikingos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Honorato Aureo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Eduardo Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pereiras FC's protests and gave Eduardo Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo Furtado hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Marcelo Batista took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Gines. Oscar Gines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Oscar Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Nóbrega in the 53rd minute of play. Aurelio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Silva having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Téo Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Pereiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Bueno. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Gonzalo Argoitz replaced Lázaro Millrick. In the 68th minute, Valdemar Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 71st minute Vikingos FC's Honorato Aureo took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Téo Silva and thus the score was 1-1. Pereiras FC's Téo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Pereiras FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vikingos FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pereiras FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
