Cristiano Garro had several of the New England Minas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Segundo Gol as he didn't even see the shot coming. 6 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario De Felice. Giuliano Basso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Bora La Marca came free, but Enzo De Nicola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdieri's Giuliano Basso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jão Cabeleira in the 10 minute of the game. Giuliano Garro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Segundo Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute of the match, Dario De Felice got a very nice opportunity to score, but Segundo Gol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. New England Minas's Segundo Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Segundo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Garro in the 20th minute of play. Enzo De Nicola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bora La Marca in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Bora La Marca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo De Nicola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cory Kirkland in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo De Nicola saved Valdieri from getting behind. New England Minas's Segundo Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario De Felice in the 30th minute of play. Cristiano Garro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Segundo Gol made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Bora La Marca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo De Nicola. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bora La Marca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 43 minutes of play, New England Minas's Cory Kirkland made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo De Nicola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Garro in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half New England Minas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Enzo De Nicola made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Bora La Marca sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guillermo Koenig hit a great ball. When New England Minas's Cory Kirkland in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valdieri's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, Cristiano Garro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valdieri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 64 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Giuliano Garro came free, but Segundo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuliano Basso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo De Nicola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cory Kirkland in the 68th minute of play. Segundo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Garro in the 69th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but Enzo De Nicola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chris Cabezon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo De Nicola having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Dario De Felice mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdieri and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but Enzo De Nicola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
