In a very dangerous position, a player in Portuguesa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Ruy Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Wright in the 41st minute of the match. Ruy Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Wright in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Ian Wright made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Goiano. Portuguesa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.

The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
