Clemente Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Elia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Clemente Peli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alejo Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Peli having to interfere. Clemente Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Sabino in the 40th minute of the match. Alejo Elia in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clemente Peli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastian Naldo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Santo Heli helped the player get up and apologised. Santo Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hilario Sabino hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Hilario Sabino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Clemente Peli. Santo Heli was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of TALLERES DE CBA booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Guiñazú FC defense, Alejo Elia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Peli. The Guiñazú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Peli should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Higinio Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Peli. Guiñazú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Elia in the 94th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Clemente Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Bastiaro in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Elia came free, but Clemente Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
