In the 7th minute Jonas Fydrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Vercauteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garry Vercauteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Fydrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes of play, International Thunders's Jonas Fydrich made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garry Vercauteren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tim-Florian Ramusch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Marc-Joel Teucke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garry Vercauteren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Fydrich's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruly's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tim-Florian Ramusch was slow to take the kick. During this time International Thunders's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Benoit Keuppens hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Bruly's Jeroen Van de Gaer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jeroen Van de Gaer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bruly protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jeroen Van de Gaer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 40 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Jeroen Van de Gaer. 41 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Gernot Kellner came free, but Garry Vercauteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Fydrich took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garry Vercauteren. Garry Vercauteren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Frederic Wuttemans came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederic Wuttemans couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Fydrich to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gernot Kellner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Garry Vercauteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Fydrich in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim-Florian Ramusch in the 60th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garry Vercauteren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Hainl in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Jonas Fydrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, International Thunders's Jonas Fydrich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Bruly's Garry Vercauteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim-Florian Ramusch in the 73rd minute of play. Garry Vercauteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim-Florian Ramusch, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Tim-Florian Ramusch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. International Thunders made a substitution. Niclas Schöttel replaced Marc-Joel Teucke. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Frederic Wuttemans hit a great ball. Tim-Florian Ramusch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry Vercauteren having to make a save. Garry Vercauteren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Fydrich in the 94th minute. Garry Vercauteren made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jonas Fydrich sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. International Thunders had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
