Nicolas Sousa started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Barral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Börna Bulldogs's Magne Falck got a free kick in the 13th minute. Orlando Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Siöman in the 17th minute of the match. Börna Bulldogs were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Montesclarense E.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per Wallgren took the corner. After taking down the ball on Börna Bulldogs's corner Per Wallgren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orlando Dante quite easily take care of the ball. Alex Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, Börna Bulldogs's Max Bergvall made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Dante was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Alex Pihl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Sousa. Montesclarense E.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mazinho Barral in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mazinho Barral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alex Pihl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th minute, Nicolas Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Nicolas Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sousa came free, but Alex Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Wilson do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson do Nascimento in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Elias Novaes hit a great ball. Montesclarense E.C.'s attentive Fellipe dos Santos managed to snatch the ball when Magne Falck made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Sousa in the 68th minute of play forced Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Alex Pihl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Wilson do Nascimento notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Börna Bulldogs's Alex Pihl. Alex Pihl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sousa came free, but Alex Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Wilson do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montesclarense E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 94th minute, Leonardo Siöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
