With an extended leg and a bit of luck Délio Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 19 minutes, Omar Elkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrabases de Victoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Elkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Mahuzier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Bastos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Heliodoro Acevedo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrabases de Victoria's protests and gave Heliodoro Acevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Barrabases de Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heliodoro Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. Omar Elkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Mahuzier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Werneck FC - DMZ's Délio Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Werneck FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Romano Aguacero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Délio Fantini, 2-0. In the 40th minute, Barrabases de Victoria's Fernán Caticura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Délio Fantini. Délio Fantini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elias Bastos made the kick off in the second half. Omar Elkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Carlos Augusto Mello got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Elkins in the 54th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Délio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Werneck FC - DMZ's zone, Omar Elkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Délio Fantini came out of the goal and Omar Elkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Omar Elkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrabases de Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Elkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Délio Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Barrabases de Victoria's Fernán Caticura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Délio Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Omar Elkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Délio Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Elkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Barrabases de Victoria's Ariano Mannhardt was substituted for Celestino Seraín. In the 69thth minute of the game Omar Elkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Werneck FC - DMZ's Délio Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barrabases de Victoria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Heliodoro Acevedo in the 71st minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Archibaldo Valdelomar got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 7-0. 71 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Werneck FC - DMZ defense, Romano Aguacero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Délio Fantini. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Délio Fantini should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Aguacero in the 78th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Délio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Vincente Rendic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Fantini. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincente Rendic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Carlos Augusto Mello got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Omar Elkins made a precise shot to the right of Délio Fantini. Werneck FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 87th minute Omar Elkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Délio Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vincente Rendic went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Barrabases de Victoria getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Heliodoro Acevedo hit a great ball. Délio Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Elkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Barrabases de Victoria were the better team. Barrabases de Victoria's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
