After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Stefan Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Martinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Friberger couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Molin came free, but Harald Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ted Tinglöv kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Edvin Britz. That made the score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ted Tinglöv was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Andreas Alm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morris FC the free kick. Ted Tinglöv scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Edvin Britz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Edvin Britz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Tinglöv in the 76th minute of play. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
