But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Tasso couldn't finish the play. Bancruz F.C's Pedro Faron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bancruz F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Eusko in the 26th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Pedro Faron made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Igor Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Faron made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Arí Paiva sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Thiago Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bancruz F.C's Severino Iraunkor tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedro Faron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafinha Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Moisés Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arí Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pedro Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Siqueira in the 74th minute of the match. When Nemesio Maiorga fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bancruz F.C's protests and gave Nemesio Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. Nemesio Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Siqueira in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Faron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Maiorga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rafinha Lara made a huge save. After 84 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Maurino. If Moisés Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Secco's late challenge caught a Bancruz F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Secco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Severino Secco got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Severino Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bancruz F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
