Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) OROTINENSE's Iordache Opincaru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tostão Cardoso came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Jacek Walczak. But to his dismay, Jacek Walczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Vieira during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernani Vieira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Jacek Walczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OROTINENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Walczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montesclarense E.C.'s Tostão Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Songurhan Mete in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Walczak came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Cisneros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tostão Cardoso. Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Songurhan Mete came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurhan Mete, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Hoffmann in the 42nd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurhan Mete, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tostão Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iordache Opincaru went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Campidelis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Walczak in the 52nd minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Tostão Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Sarnelli hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Davi Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Davi Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tostão Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Opincaru in the 57th minute of play. Tostão Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Songurhan Mete's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The OROTINENSE fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when OROTINENSE's Songurhan Mete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iordache Opincaru scored 0-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tostão Cardoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tostão Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Opincaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Hernani Vieira got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Walczak in the 70th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Tostão Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Luz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. João Paulo Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Tostão Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hernani Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Hélder Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OROTINENSE the free kick. After 84 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Oliveira. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 86th minute, but Tostão Cardoso got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Montesclarense E.C. hanging dry this time. In the 88th minute OROTINENSE were awarded a corner. Leonel Cisneros went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Montesclarense E.C.'s goalie and right to Jimmy-Floyd Sung. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Ruhi Uluöz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Hernani Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
