Tirant lo Blanch's Sebastian Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Åkesson in the 4th minute of play. Morgan Åkesson took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Lundberg. Sebastian Lundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Carlos Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andreas Palička made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Loureiro in the 10th minute. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Med Gang hit a great ball. Morgan Åkesson struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Sebastian Lundberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morgan Åkesson in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Lundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Tirant lo Blanch's Carlos Loureiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andreas Palička. Andreas Palička yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 33 minutes, Gabriel Lange made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tirant lo Blanch's Sebastian Lundberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Loureiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Palička read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Carlos Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Loureiro scored 2-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Palička, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Eddie Andreasson made the kick off in the second half. Eddie Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. FC Kurdistan's Alfons Öberg was substituted for Hans Hellström. 73 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's Carlos Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Palička narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
