A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ovidio Pabla hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, John Villalon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fabricio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Ribeiro in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ribeiro came free, but Fabricio Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Otsoko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Smith's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Fabricio Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhonny Evans in the 27th minute of the match. When Arsenio Canor fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s protests and gave Arsenio Canor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Arsenio Canor got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Ellande in the 31st minute of play forced United FC's goalkeeper Cisco Rubial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Villalon in the 40th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabricio Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goren Cabañas in the 42nd minute of the match. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Fabricio Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Villalon in the 43rd minute of play. Arsenio Canor hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when John Villalon came free, but Fabricio Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fabricio Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Edwin Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Otsoko was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Jaime Ellande took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cisco Rubial. Cisco Rubial dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. United FC's Goren Cabañas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elpidio Lartaun, made in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, United FC's John Villalon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabricio Otsoko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fabricio Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabricio Otsoko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabricio Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Cayo made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by United FC's Edwin Smith. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Americo Urtats got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Manuel Atarratze threw the ball into play from the sideline. United FC's Mauro Arias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Atletas Campesinos F.C. defense, Uriel Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Otsoko. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Otsoko should have stopped the shot. Lázaro Cayo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When United FC's John Villalon in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Urtats to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Villalon got free with Fabricio Otsoko in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as John Villalon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabricio Otsoko. That made the score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
