After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Joinville - FSCMZ! After 8 minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gustavo Gustavson managed, with a little bit of luck, save Martin Arseni's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Gustavo Gustavson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Arseni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Panait Marghescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Panait Marghescu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gustavo Gustavson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paralia Athens. With 26 minutes on the clock, Cristian Urdeş commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Codrin Beraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Favoretto scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codrin Beraru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Gustavo Gustavson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Marghescu in the 30th minute of play. Gustavo Gustavson was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Panait Marghescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Panait Marghescu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Gustavo Gustavson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Marghescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Claudinho Terra notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Paralia Athens's Codrin Beraru. Codrin Beraru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panait Marghescu was the one to do the kick off. Codrin Beraru was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Walmir Sarmento was substituted for Thomás Cardoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Marghescu in the 70th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gustavo Gustavson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Claudinho Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Beraru came out of the goal and Claudinho Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Cícero Lago was substituted for Bruno de Senna. Gustavo Gustavson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Marghescu in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Panait Marghescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gustavson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Gustavson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Marghescu in the 79th minute of the match. Gustavo Gustavson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Zgabei, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panait Marghescu in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Gustavson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panait Marghescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paralia Athens were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of New Joinville - FSCMZ for a fine match.
