The referee showed Isidoros Pournaris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to YELLOW FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Isidoros Pournaris hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Isidoros Pournaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. YELLOW FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoros Pournaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Gombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 minutes, Isaac Dayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Balvanera and the YELLOW FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Isaac Dayam got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dimitris Venizelos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciro Gombal. Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. YELLOW FC's Christos Moustakidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save YELLOW FC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Vinicio Checa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of YELLOW FC's Christos Moustakidis. Christos Moustakidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christos Moustakidis made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Florentino Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. Christos Moustakidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Checa in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Christos Moustakidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Checa in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Belasko in the 35th minute of play forced YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Christos Moustakidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Vinicio Checa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christos Moustakidis, 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Christos Moustakidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Petrigai. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Christos Moustakidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, YELLOW FC's Zinon Fragoulakis got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Petrigai made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Jimeno Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match YELLOW FC got a corner. Deportivo Balvanera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitris Venizelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dimitris Venizelos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Balvanera's Ciro Gombal did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in YELLOW FC's zone, Florentino Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Moustakidis came out of the goal and Florentino Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Nikos Batmanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Balvanera's Ciro Gombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. YELLOW FC's Christos Moustakidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Checa in the 68th minute of play. Christos Moustakidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Belasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Adolfo Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Cristobal Hulberto replaced Sixto Belasko. In the 78th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Poz to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Christos Moustakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Deportivo Balvanera's Cristobal Hulberto in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Christos Moustakidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Checa went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 92nd match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Quintin to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Balvanera players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
