In the 6th minute Fauna Utd were awarded a corner. Lex Van Eycke went to the cornerflag to take it. When Wout Rosbach fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauna Utd's protests and gave Wout Rosbach a yellow card for diving instead. Wout Rosbach hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Maman Papachronopoulos got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Holger Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Joensson came free, but Wesley Ingelborgs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jonas Walroth came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Lekparken FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Walroth couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Walroth in the 21st minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Wesley Ingelborgs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Wout Rosbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lekparken FC's Sigge Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 31st minute of play. Ive Beckers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Sigge Holmberg made a huge save. After 39 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Lex Van Eycke. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Abel Van Clijnebreugel made the kick off in the second half. If Jonas Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigge Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ive Beckers in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Lekparken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Albohm to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Lekparken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lex Van Eycke came free, but Sigge Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigge Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinton De Buyser, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Wesley Ingelborgs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Joensson in the 65th minute of play. Jonas Walroth struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Wesley Ingelborgs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lekparken FC. Dean De Koq hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sigge Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinton De Buyser in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Fauna Utd were awarded a corner. Lex Van Eycke went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fauna Utd's corner Maman Papachronopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sigge Holmberg quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lekparken FC's zone, Abel Van Clijnebreugel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigge Holmberg came out of the goal and Abel Van Clijnebreugel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Lekparken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Fridlund to maneuver through the defense. If Jonas Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernard Vanden Bussche kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Abel Van Clijnebreugel made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lekparken FC's Sigge Holmberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dean De Koq hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Abel Van Clijnebreugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigge Holmberg having to interfere. Many of Lekparken FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lekparken FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Fauna Utd were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
