The supporters of Khalkedon FK booed when Dexter Morgan VR46 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Brandolini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Dexter Morgan VR46's Amedeo Melis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vacid Akyazıcı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Amedeo Melis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vacid Akyazıcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Melis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ayhan İnciroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Khalkedon FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fazıl Hüsnü Akburç hit a great ball. Vacid Akyazıcı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amedeo Melis went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Amedeo Melis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vacid Akyazıcı was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Akburç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Melis in the 33rd minute of play forced Khalkedon FK's goalkeeper Vacid Akyazıcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Melis in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Khalkedon FK defense, Flavio Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. The Khalkedon FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vacid Akyazıcı should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayhan İnciroğlu. Fazıl Hüsnü Akburç struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Beppe Pozzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khalkedon FK. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amedeo Melis to make the kick off. The long shot by Concetto Domina in the 53rd minute really tested Vacid Akyazıcı's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vacid Akyazıcı made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Flavio Miranda sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Khalkedon FK's Doğuş Barlas got a free kick in the 66th minute. A hard shot by Fortunato Brandolini from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Vacid Akyazıcı's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Flavio Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dexter Morgan VR46 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Miranda couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Hayri Özkar hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Khalkedon FK's Seyfi Sadri got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Khalkedon FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fazıl Hüsnü Akburç hit a great ball. If Pete Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pete Mitchell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vacid Akyazıcı having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Pete Mitchell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Borel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Ayhan İnciroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Pozzo. Dexter Morgan VR46's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayhan İnciroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 89th match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Mitchell to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Dexter Morgan VR46 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Khalkedon FK throughout the match.
