Klement Pawlak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Marek Szostak made a huge save. After a rather tough play, AIF's Kasper Alströmer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Marek Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Skaradowski in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klement Pawlak got free with Marek Szostak in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marek Szostak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Skaradowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Christer Strömbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Klement Pawlak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marek Szostak. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klement Pawlak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 38th minute of the match Gunnar Klemensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Arruda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Bror Skoog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AIF's Marek Szostak got control of the ball when Klement Pawlak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Westbam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Lepucki to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Skaradowski to make the kick off. Tony Arruda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kent Hägglund. Marek Szostak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Skaradowski in the 66th minute of the match. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tony Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Engström came free, but Tony Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Szostak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Skaradowski in the 76th minute of the match. If Bror Skoog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bror Skoog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Arruda was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Tony Arruda made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bror Skoog sent off a good shot on target. Bror Skoog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Pawlak in the 92nd minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Marek Szostak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Klement Pawlak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Szostak. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Szostak should have stopped the shot. Westbam's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
