Atlético Montserrat's Isaias Gurutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Montserrat from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bustick Sport's Mariano Santiago got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 37th minute, Humberto Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Melchor Restu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Bustick Sport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Restu couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Fix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Enrique Tino got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Restu in the 60th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Isaias Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bustick Sport's Gerardo Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Montserrat's zone, Elvio Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Gurutz came out of the goal and Elvio Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bustick Sport booed when Atlético Montserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Luzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bustick Sport getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Elvio Chan hit a great ball. Isaias Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Restu in the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Melchor Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustick Sport's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Restu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Gurutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Restu in the 89th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Isaias Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ciriaco Innocenzio hit a great ball. Isaias Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Restu in the 93rd minute of play.
