Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Puskás, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gábor Puskás got free with Julius Vanneste in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Limburg United's Julius Vanneste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christen Kalimanis in the 11th minute of play. Julius Vanneste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christen Kalimanis in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Markos in the 23rd minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes MICE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Georgakos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Debecker in the 29th minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper M. Dedy Giatrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, Gábor Puskás got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julius Vanneste was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute of the match Thodoris Georgakos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julius Vanneste skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Markos in the 40th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes, MICE F.C.'s Thanos Psarros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julius Vanneste came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MICE F.C. reached it. Philip Toeback struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. M. Dedy Giatrakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. MICE F.C. made a substitution. Giovanni Parisis replaced Pavlos Markos. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giovanni Parisis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julius Vanneste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovanni Parisis went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Gábor Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christen Kalimanis scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julius Vanneste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to MICE F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Giovanni Parisis hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Parisis came free, but Julius Vanneste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Toeback received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. M. Dedy Giatrakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
