ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Bill Fitzpatrick scored to the left of an out of position Achilleas Mavilis, making the score, 2-0. FC NILS's Mårten Vallander got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zisis Boublis's late challenge caught a FC NILS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zisis Boublis helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Zisis Boublis. FC NILS's Mårten Vallander got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mårten Vallander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ defense, Bill Fitzpatrick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achilleas Mavilis. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achilleas Mavilis should have stopped the shot. When FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stelios Mantarinidis hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Prodromos Stefanou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thanasis Dabizas to strike the kick off in the second half. Geva Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Apostolikas Toskas in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Åke Utter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Achilleas Mavilis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Palmkvist in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Michel Andreasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Achilleas Mavilis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Vallander to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Michel Andreasson. 81 minutes into the game, Michel Andreasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Achilleas Mavilis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Michel Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NILS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ the free kick. Thanasis Dabizas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Michel Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achilleas Mavilis having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Michel Andreasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Achilleas Mavilis. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Andreasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. FC NILS made a substitution. Kurt Ahlerot replaced Zebastian Palmkvist. In the 95th minute, Stelios Mantarinidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
