Cihan Kisačević started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FCF north's Xie Yan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danilo Machado. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. With splendid footwork Dirk-Jan Lambers arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 14th minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Danilo Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Shark FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes, Xie Yan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCF north and the Shark FC - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes FCF north got a freekick which was hit by Xie Yan. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Danilo Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Kisačević in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FCF north's zone, Dedé Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Oldenborger came out of the goal and Dedé Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, FCF north's Cihan Kisačević dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Danilo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihan Kisačević in the 46th minute of the match. FCF north's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Baan in the 48th minute. The corner led FCF north's Edgar Baan to fire away a dangerous shot which Danilo Machado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno da Costa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk-Jan Lambers in the 52nd minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Danilo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Jonathan Steelman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Edgar Baan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Oldenborger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário da Fonseca in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Cihan Kisačević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Machado. Shark FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cihan Kisačević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mazinho Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCF north's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihan Kisačević in the 81st minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Danilo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match FCF north got a corner. Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Baan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd minute Dirk-Jan Lambers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihan Kisačević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
