With his leg Göran Ambjörnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Mitnarotov FC's Walmir Quintal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fredrik Bennet charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Bennet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walmir Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Quintal might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göran Ambjörnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmir Quintal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lars Björkdal fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samurai's protests and gave Lars Björkdal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mitnarotov FC booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Björkdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Carneiro in the 15th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Göran Ambjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Sena in the 17th minute of the match. Mitnarotov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samurai the free kick. The supporters of Samurai booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almir Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Gustafsson in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Frédson Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mitnarotov FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Samurai's zone, Frédson Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Ambjörnsson came out of the goal and Frédson Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Erland Nässén. Göran Ambjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Sena in the 43rd minute of play. Samurai's Göran Ambjörnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. Michael Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
After having played for 51 minutes, Alexander Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Gustafsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frédson Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Göran Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Frédson Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitnarotov FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Ambjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Quintal came free, but Göran Ambjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Ambjörnsson came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Mitnarotov FC's Walmir Quintal. But to his dismay, Walmir Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Walmir Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Björkdal struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Almir Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai. Michael Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Carneiro came free, but Göran Ambjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Frédson Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Ambjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Ambjörnsson having to interfere. The supporters of Samurai booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frédson Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Quintal in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Ambjörnsson saved Samurai from getting behind. Samurai's Göran Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Quintal in the 85th minute of play. Frédson Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Göran Ambjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitnarotov FC. Göran Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Quintal in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Walmir Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Göran Ambjörnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goalkeeper Almir Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Åke Eriksson. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mitnarotov FC fully deserved thier win.
