Tin Santamaria had several of the Ibirama Futebol Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Froilan Dolcet as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 9th match minute, Ibirama Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Severo to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Artacho hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. CANTERANOS DMS's Diego Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Valle in the 13th minute of play. Diego Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Aguinaga Chinchilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANTERANOS DMS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aguinaga Chinchilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. CANTERANOS DMS's Rogelio Rebollo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Dante in the 30th minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Diego Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Oséias Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Diego Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Almir Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tin Santamaria hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Froilan Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tin Santamaria's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dudu Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diego Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lastra Estevis's late challenge caught a Ibirama Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lastra Estevis helped the player get up and apologised. Lastra Estevis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Almir Valle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ibirama Futebol Clube reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Valle in the 62nd minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Diego Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Almir Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Diego Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the match, Dudu Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Kahn, 2-1. After 76 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Dante. Diego Kahn made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Joaquim Félix sent off a good shot on target. Diego Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Pinho in the 80th minute of the match. Ibirama Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Almir Valle in the 82nd minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after CANTERANOS DMS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Almir Valle took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ibirama Futebol Clube's corner Almir Valle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diego Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. In the 85th minute, Dedé Dante fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 88 minutes, Roris Serdio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CANTERANOS DMS and the Ibirama Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes CANTERANOS DMS got a freekick which was hit by Roris Serdio. Almir Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Diego Kahn made a huge save. When CANTERANOS DMS's Tin Santamaria in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing CANTERANOS DMS to leave the ground with a draw.
