Dre Dierickx started the match with the kick off. Acar Abanoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Dre Dierickx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limburg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave City Friseur Wuppertal the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dre Dierickx to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Eşref Mutluay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Limburg United's Gert-Jan Volckaerts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ali Kaan Eryetiş. Ali Kaan Eryetiş yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Matijs Artois hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Limburg United's Manuel Pelegrims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt İncel in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Doğan Kavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert-Jan Volckaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kaan Eryetiş having to interfere. Dre Dierickx struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ali Kaan Eryetiş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. Manuel Pelegrims made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acar Abanoz in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Limburg United! The referee gave City Friseur Wuppertal a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mevlüt İncel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Limburg United's Manuel Pelegrims. 1-1. Gert-Jan Volckaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kaan Eryetiş having to interfere. Acar Abanoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Manuel Pelegrims tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Acar Abanoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Pelegrims was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Acar Abanoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. City Friseur Wuppertal's supporters rose to their feet, but Acar Abanoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Pelegrims breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acar Abanoz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Qwinten Waeberghe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Mehmet Ediz Soysan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geert Leenknecht during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Geert Leenknecht. Acar Abanoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Hayyam Sanih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. City Friseur Wuppertal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayyam Sanih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. City Friseur Wuppertal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mevlüt İncel in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mevlüt İncel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Pelegrims quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ediz Soysan in the 74th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Manuel Pelegrims to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Manuel Pelegrims had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acar Abanoz. Manuel Pelegrims made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Acar Abanoz sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Acar Abanoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The City Friseur Wuppertal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match was over City Friseur Wuppertal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Limburg United throughout the match.
