Emery Garner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Boeve, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 3rd match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Han Pieters to maneuver through the defense. Ryan de Kort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan Zimmerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Curtis Hunter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan de Kort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ForestFire booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Zuid didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curtis Hunter got free with Ryan de Kort in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip Blevins in the 25th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Ryan de Kort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ForestFire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Merlin Nunez in the 27th minute. Robbie Le Van fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan de Kort having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Jan Schutrups during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Jan Schutrups to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orville Black to maneuver through the defense. Theo Boeve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emery Garner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan de Kort made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robbie Le Van in the 47th minute. After the first half FC Bal op het Dak were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Le Van to strike the kick off in the second half. Tuan Zimmerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Bal op het Dak's Gert Jan Schutrups got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Han Pieters. ForestFire's Emery Garner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. If Han Pieters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curtis Hunter hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Curtis Hunter charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Curtis Hunter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curtis Hunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Orville Black. Ferdi van Heiningen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert Jan Schutrups kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
