The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Christian Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Christian Lundqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute Callum Marshall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Zabrzeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Zabrzeski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Gallin in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Lundqvist in the 22nd minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Pawel Zabrzeski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Lichorobiec kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Callum Marshall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pawel Zabrzeski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Christian Lundqvist took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pawel Zabrzeski. Pawel Zabrzeski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 36 played minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Maruda. After a defensive mix-up in KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's zone, Christian Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Zabrzeski came out of the goal and Christian Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pawel Zabrzeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Callum Marshall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Callum Marshall was the one to do the kick off. Pawel Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Callum Marshall in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Callum Marshall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pawel Zabrzeski. Pawel Zabrzeski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Callum Marshall scored 0-6 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pawel Zabrzeski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Lisewski in the 60th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Joakim Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Pawel Zabrzeski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Callum Marshall scored to the left of an out of position Pawel Zabrzeski, making the score, 0-7. With a little luck, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski got control of the ball when Fredric Gallin tried to sneak it across the goal line. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's zone, Sebastian Dusett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Zabrzeski came out of the goal and Sebastian Dusett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredric Gallin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredric Gallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pawel Zabrzeski was a little too slow when Callum Marshall got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-8. Pawel Zabrzeski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredric Gallin in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Christian Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Zabrzeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Zabrzeski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Lundqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 91 minute of play.
