Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aimilios Siozos made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Stephen Vicente managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lugano's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Vicente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonis Maltezos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mikel Jerzinger came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikel Jerzinger couldn't finish the play. Godo Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Siozos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonis Maltezos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Vicente in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Zarrella to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Maltezos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Zarrella in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Zarrella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonis Maltezos. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Aimilios Siozos charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aimilios Siozos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimilios Siozos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stephen Vicente came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Dimitris Kalokiris got a free kick in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Zarrella in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonis Maltezos saved GREEN LIONS from getting behind. Mikel Jerzinger kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Vazakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godo Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimilios Siozos in the 42nd minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Zarrella made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piedro Marois to maneuver through the defense. Piedro Marois hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Aimilios Siozos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godo Gøl was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Antonis Maltezos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikel Jerzinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Mikel Jerzinger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikel Jerzinger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Zarrella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakis Kaberis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Godo Gøl firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 69th play minutes Eugenio Zarrella shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Antonis Maltezos and just under the crossbar into goal. Eugenio Zarrella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonis Maltezos having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Eugenio Zarrella made a precise shot to the right of Antonis Maltezos. GREEN LIONS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With a little luck, FC Lugano's Godo Gøl got control of the ball when Aimilios Siozos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Zarrella during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Eugenio Zarrella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonis Maltezos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. A collision led to GREEN LIONS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Emmanouil Bakogiannis hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the GREEN LIONS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Lugano.
