After 3 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by Damian Şoimaru. Aron Jupâneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Bachmann having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Iosif Hârtopanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Bachmann made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Damian Vulpescu sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Şoimaru came free, but Simon Bachmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Antonescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Bachmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Rareș Antonescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Damian Şoimaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Simon Bachmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Damian Şoimaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann got control of the ball when Damian Vulpescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simon Bachmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klemens Hugo to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Bachmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Şoimaru's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Robert Simionică took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Bachmann. SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 55th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Hârtopanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Damian Şoimaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bachmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Simon Bachmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Simon Bachmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simon Bachmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Şoimaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Laslo Geier got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Edgar Comarnescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ciufulici and the SSV Ulm 1846 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Edgar Comarnescu hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Jakob Fricke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Damian Şoimaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bachmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Şoimaru in the 80th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Damian Şoimaru made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. SSV Ulm 1846's Simon Bachmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laslo Geier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosif Hârtopanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Bachmann. SSV Ulm 1846's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
