The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Jonatan Bortzaioriz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nenushko FC booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Mateo Berriotxoa's late challenge caught a Nenushko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Berriotxoa helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Congo Bongo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nenushko FC:s goal. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Nenushko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber Uranga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Pedroso in the 24th minute of play forced Nenushko FC's goalkeeper Pedro Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Fulgencio Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congo Bongo and the Nenushko FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Jimenez came free, but Benicio Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Pedroso in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Zapata, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 36 minutes, Guillermo Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nenushko FC and the Congo Bongo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Florentino Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congo Bongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Xabel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Zapata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fulgencio Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pedro Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Florentino Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Nenushko FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Zaldaña. 67 minutes into the match, Nenushko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Bortzaioriz came free, but Pedro Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Pedroso in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Benicio Poz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Carranza. Guillermo Guerra got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jonatan Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Pedroso in the 81st minute of play forced Nenushko FC's goalkeeper Pedro Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Florentino Xabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Carranza kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fulgencio Pedroso hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
