KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alkomaty the free kick. Robert Imbor kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Damazy Lukasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Sikola in the 10th minute of play. When Klement Lichorobiec fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Alkomaty's protests and gave Klement Lichorobiec a yellow card for diving instead. Klement Lichorobiec kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Alkomaty getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edmund Blochowiak hit a great ball. When Lukasz Skonieczny fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 20th minute, Lukasz Skonieczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damazy Lukasik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jedrzej Fleischer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Sikola in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Alkomaty's goalkeeper Damazy Lukasik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when FC Alkomaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Mochowak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damazy Lukasik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Pleban, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when FC Alkomaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Zaworski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maksymilian Dombrowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Milosz Pleban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, FC Alkomaty's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Sikola came free, but Damazy Lukasik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Milosz Pleban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Lukasik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Milosz Pleban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damazy Lukasik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
