Flavinho Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Jurgi in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Marcel Meireles got control of the ball when Maximo Cristofol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Bordat made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Carlos Fernando de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. Tadeo Garoa charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Garoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Kame Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Garoa. 78 minutes into the match, Eduardo Bordat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Meireles. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Bordat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Ariel Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Meireles having to interfere. A collision led to Kame Futbol Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Julio Calvet hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Kame Futbol Club could leave the field as winners, despite Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ having more of the ball for most of the match.
