In the 3rd match minute, Federales FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Piorno to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Eron made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Alexandre Cabral sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Alexandre Cabral notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Federales FC Ψ's Vladimiro Eron. Vladimiro Eron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Astigar during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Federales FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Astigar. Vladimiro Eron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Rodrigues in the 18th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Vladimiro Eron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If José Vítor Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Eron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Rodrigues in the 31st minute of the match. Diego Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Ruisko in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Cabral got free with Vladimiro Eron in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Cordarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Rodrigues made a kick off. In the 52nd minute José Vítor Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Eron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Federales FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Piorno to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Federales FC Ψ booed when Independente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes of play, Federales FC Ψ's Desiderio Cordarius made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gilberto Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Eron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Monteiro in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute José Vítor Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Eron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play Federales FC Ψ's Ildefonso Astigar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 72 played minutes Federales FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Astigar. If Alexandre Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Rodrigues came free, but Vladimiro Eron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vladimiro Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Independente FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
